Family Event!

Hurry on down to the Arroyo Grande Library on February 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. for an exciting performance of Chinese music, dance and stories that will charm you! Children will be thrilled to jump and move to the Chinese Dragon Dance and learn the Chinese Plate Dance. Children of all ages will listen eagerly as Shui Ching-Hu McSparron teaches and intrigues with tidbits from the Chinese language and culture! Be prepared for loads of fun! This program is a free family event and appropriate for children between ages 4—104! 

Adult Event!
Join us Saturday, February 13th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. as noted author, Gordon Snider; using slides discusses his novel, Sigourney's Quest. Sigourney’s Quest is an adventurous tale about a woman, a 7th century Buddhist manuscript, and a harrowing journey through Tibet. The author will also highlight his latest novel.
