Our mission…
The purpose of this association is to preserve and enhance the library’s
place as a source of information by enriching its resources and making its
services better known to the community.

What we do/provide The friends, through their membership dues and their book sales, provide tangible services to the library in the form of computers, printers, funds for new book purchases, new furniture, not to mention the hundreds of volunteer hours sorting, shelving and mending books.

New Database
The San Luis Obispo County Community Foundation has made it possible for the Arroyo Grande Library to offer a subscription to GrantStation to our community. This grant database is available in the library at one of our computer stations. Using GrantStation nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies may identify potential funding sources for programs or projects. In addition, one can access resources to assist you through the grant seeking process. The GrantStation Website highlights international as well as United State funding opportunities. Two online tours (one quick and one extended) are available to introduce you to using GrantStation.

GrantStation is available at the following libraries: San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Morro Bay, Los Osos, Cambria, and Nipomo.
